Print newsletters: Everything you wanted to know
Podcasts seem to be undergoing a revival at the moment.
Around 10 years ago it felt like every man and their dog was doing one - some better than others.
And then it all went a bit quiet.
But in the last 12 months, in particular, they appear to be making a comeback.
This is great news for me, because I'm a big fan of audio content.
I mean, reading's lovely. So's video.
But I struggled to find the time to do either - even before Florence was born last month!
Audio, on the other hand, is far easier to digest.
I can have it on in the car when I go to the office, or via headphones when I'm up at 3am wondering why babies don't seem to ever sleep.
That said, there are few podcasts I'll listen to. One of them is by the lovely Matt Eldridge over at Melt Creative.
Matt's one of the few people who doesn't make me feel tall, and he's an extremely smart guy when it comes to getting better results from your digital marketing.
So when Matt asked me to join him on his podcast recently, it was an easy decision to make.
We discuss all the aspects of print newsletters you've probably found yourself asking in the past. Things like:
What type of businesses can really benefit from a print newsletter and why.
The common mistakes most people make when designing their newsletter - and how to avoid making them!
Where to start when writing the content for a print newsletter.
How to avoid being ripped off by designers or printers.
How to leverage your newsletter to increase reach, conversion and retention.
If you've got 40 minutes spare - be it in the car, the bath, or the gym - I urge you to give it a listen.
